Hellow :) I know I've been MIA (on and off) ..thanks to all with the season greetings and yes Deana I'm still on leave...will be back to work on Monday..uhuhu...

It's almost 4am and I've been up since 2am (fell asleep with Ethan while putting him to bed as usual...or was it Ethan putting me to bed instead haha..) to do some house works i.e. washing the dishes and Ethan's bottles (I can't stand seeing the sink with dirty dishes in it in the morning..not even a single teaspoon as it will spoil my morning mood hee...) after the trip to Utan Paradise (which I will make an entry later on) and now blog hopping..and what did i see???

Such a pretty and stylist lil' thing don't you agree???!!! I soooo want it!!! Such great temptation...

oh me...oh my...It was love at first sight when I saw it here...Dear Santa...I promise I will be extra good this year and please please please pretty please can you please put this under the tree before we bring it down and store it away...I know I know...just another wishful thinking obviously!! hahaha...I haven't even look at the specs but I just love the color and the design...the designer Viviene Tam uses peony flower...according to Lilian Too...peony flowers are good for the singles especially if u carry it around with you all the time...okay let me just have a quick read on the price and specs ... ok here goes, to own one, it will cost you roughly about US$700 and the specs are not bad if you're just using it for word processing, surfing and some basic applications. Definately not suitable for the heavy users of graphics , games etc...BUT most importantly, does it suits me?? OH YES INDEED!! I WANT!!!! I've checked the HP Msian site...none yet :( Oh Santa.... where are you????!!!!

Anyway, I have stories to tell but have not got the chance to do so ...and of coz pictures to share...though not as many, as hubby has been away due to work commitments. Hence, my Xmas cum NY break has not been what I've planned to be...wanted to bring Ethan out for a swim, picnic, out with his cousins especially hubby's 2nd bro who is back from KL, to attend Xmas and NY parties, celebrate hubby's bday, out with my friends, pampering myself with facial and pedicure sessions etc etc...but oh well...some other days perhaps...I hope next year it will be a more eventful Xmas and NY and I hope you had a blast on yours recently! ;p I'll be back with more stories...so later folks! Oh psssttt... please help me to look for dear Santa for the HP Viviene Tam's design would you? I'm sooo in love with it!! ;p

As Christmas is approaching...

I went for my annual just before Christmas hair therapy session last Friday ;p And though many have asked me not to go ahead with the perming of my hair in Facebook (thanks for all the comments hehe)...I've decided to just go ahead with it as it has been in my mind for the longest time...the only thing that was holding me back was the extra care and efforts that I need to do after washing and especially during the morning rush...normally I would go for the usual long layered cut with color & highlight, similar to last year's but this year, my hair looks like this... colored with mahagony brown and digitally permed ;p

I hope it's not too bad.. waddaya think? ;p

Oh oh...Ethan turns 18 months today!! :) Good thing is that we're off to Langkah Syabas for a Pre Xmas Party with all the other CD mommies in KK as well as friends and family...what a coincidence coz we'll be able to celebrate two in one occasion i.e. Xmas & Ethan turns 1 1/2 year old!! Hehe..ok folks gotta pack Ethan's stuff now...later!!

My day

My bday was over 2 weeks ago...it was a simple affair as that is how I prefer to celebrate my bday all the time - just a simple and low profile bday celebration :) Anyway, I'll let the photos tell you the stories okay :)

Hubby took us out for dinner at Fish & Co...

....before we adjourned to Sutera Harbour Resort just to chill out with Lil' E :)

..and I had a pleasant surprise at work thanks to my wonderful colleagues :) Oh BTW, I have to say this... that cheese cake from Uncle Biscuit is simply delicious...I would like to honestly recommend you to try it bcos it is absolutely indescribable super yummy and no,I am not exagerating!!

And as usual our office had the August babies bday party which of coz include ME! ;p

And what's bday celebration without bday presents right! Besides a gift from dear hubby, a pre bday lunch treat from my dear friend F, presents from friends colleagues... of coz I gave myself some bday treats too :) Bought myself some working clothes from G2000 and a makeover package from Kose which you've seen the picture earlier hehehe...and oh...prior to my bday, a good friend of hubby invited us to celebrate his baby's (baby Ray) full moon...and since they are siblings, I met Sharon at the party :)

This is what happened when...

...my facial appointment was cancelled due to staff annual dinner and I wasn't informed and on top of that I had 2 hours to kill during the long lunch hours on Friday...
If you asked me if it hurts? Absolutely NOT coz it ain't the real thing hehe...it's a non-permanent tattoo on my left ankle for the next 2 weeks hehe...I normally go for henna tattoo previously.. so this is the first time I'm having a sprayed tattoo :) So how do you like it? hehe... BTW, it only cost me RM6 for this one..

Well that is as far as I would ever dare to come close to being tattooed simply because I'm such a coward when it comes to pain. I'll probably cry a river or even cry a sea if I do really go for the real thing!! But having said that, surprisingly I managed to go through labour pain.... now that is one pain one just can't describe with words! But like all moms will say, the pain will be totally forgotten once you see your precious little one in your arms :) Too bad I couldn't see my little prince straight away as I had to go for an emergency c-section in the end though I was already 10cm dilated :( But nothing could describe the joy and happiness that I felt when the nurse brought Ethan to me and him opening his eyes (he was asleep then) and looked at me when I first called out his name :)

Happy 11th Birthday!!

We celebrated our company's 11th Anniversary two weeks ago with a dinner reception at STAR. The event was graced by one of the Deputy Chief Ministers who represented the Chief Minister at the 11th hour... Western food was served during the evening and we were entertained by the combo from UMS. There were plenty of oldies songs but I must say the singers who are mostly students from UMS were pretty good...Anyway, when the VVIPs and VIP left and the function was over, we had fun camwhoring with our colleagues and our dear MD ;p

While I was attending the anniversary dinner, hubby and Ethan attended Joshua's 5th birthday party at the New Emperor Restaurant. That night, hubby sms-ed me to tell me that Ethan was not only the loudest boy but he made a little girl cried with his usual shriek and this ...poor little girl who probably got frighten by my aggressive boy! ;p

I can't seem to get back to dreamland...

I had to wake up at 3am coz I had to give Ethan his medicines.. But since then I'm unable to go back to la la land, thus the blogging mummy :) Anyway, Ethan seems to be okay as his cough doesn't seem to get worst (thank goodness!!) and so is the mucus production...so hopefully it will stay that way and that Ethan will have a speedy full recovery.

Both hubby and me decided that we'll not be bringing Ethan out to public places like shopping malls anymore till he is a year old. Reason being we don't want him to get airway infection again since he has sensitive airway. I feel bad for Ethan as he loves going out especially to shopping malls... But I guess his health is more important. Him being one year old is not that far away anyway...only about 4 more months to go...gee time really waits for no one huh... as for my sweetie pie..mummy hopes you'll get well soon okay...love you sweetie pie...mmmuah!!

I'm still up...

I was telling you that it was my bedtime in my previous post...but here I am still awake and typing this entry at 3.28am! Probably I've passed my sleeping time....maybe what I need is some aromatherapy to help me to relax and ease me to sleep. Or if you prefer, you could also check out their Bamboo Water Fountain for a soothing and calming effect....Hmmm...I better force myself to bed now...I'll probably have panda eyes tomorrow and am sure it is not going to be a pleasant day when I'm going to have a busy day at work later... sigh...wish me luck in getting some sleep soon!

Another holiday required...

I'm back! Yes, this mommy has been missing in action since X'mas Day. I've been pretty busy and I have not been well since I've got the cough and flu recently :( I wasn't in good shape a few nights ago but thank goodness after taking Panadols and Clarinase plus a few hours of sleep, I felt so much better!

However, I still have this itchy throat ...and since Ethan is still recovering...I went to the clinic this morning... By doctor's order, I'm to avoid eating fried food and drinking cold drinks. I have also been advised to take steamed food only which I presumed I can also take soupy kinda food??..(just trying to stretch the choice of food that I currently and sadly have..) I'm feeling a bit drowsy right now... I'm blaming it on the cough syrup that the doctor prescribed for me this morning. I guess he didn't hear my request though I vividly remember telling him for non-drowsy medicines....sigh....Despite the MC given by the doctor this morning, I came to work since I've been on leave since X'mas eve and I know I have many things to clear..

This drowsy feeling is getting on my nerve now...hmmm...maybe what I need right now is to take a breather...perhaps I should make a far far away trip....away from all the rush madness... like flying off to the City of Light i.e. Paris being one of the most popular destinations in the world. With its famous Eiffel Tower and many stories about it being a romantic and beautiful city, and of course its reputation as a centre of culture, business, fashion and design, I am not surprise that it can easily lure not only the French, but English , German and Spanish speaking tourists too. I do hope hubby will one day fly us to Paris for a romantic holiday and be able to do some hotel hopping at some of Paris Hotels or if you're French you can search for Paris Hôtels or París Hoteles in Spain - just for the fun of it. Hmm..but I do wonder how much would the rates be like for Paris Hotels...must be pretty expensive especially in Central Paris....

Psssttt...on a different note, did I tell you that I've actually lost some weight during my leave?? The weighting machine at the clinic showed that am now 51.7kg as compared to between 53 - 54 kg previously...must be due to my illness and lack of sleep... what a blessing in disguise eh hehe... I thought I would have put on some weight during the festives seasons esp with all the good food being served!!....No wonder FIL said I looked like I've lost some weight..hehe.. I just need to work on my tummy now...could Salsacise be the solution? Let's wait and see ;p

They were really cute Xmas gifts from a dear friend and an ex-colleague (we shared the same cubicle space hee..) of mine when I was working in Singapore previously!! Yay!!! :)

What great bargain I've got!!

I've got myself this really inexpensive (dead cheap at RM5!!) but elegant accessory from Givers Mart recently. It was my second visit to the "Korean charity" shop that sells clothes (second hand & brand new), accessories, toys, books etc. Sometimes if you're lucky (especially when new stock just came in), you can get really great bargain for branded stuff e.g. Fisher Price toys at a very discounted price!! You can also ask them to send you sms when new items arrive (which I did hehe...). If you wanna know where Givers Mart is, it's on top of the KFC at Bornion. They have another branch in Grand Millenium (near to the new CKS Supermarket and Krishnan Curry House) which was opened since July this year.

Not at my desk

I attended a 3 days workshop organized by the Malaysia Technology Corporation Development (MTDC) on Monday till Wednesday at the Le Meridien recently. The workshop was on commercialization of technology. There were about 40 participants mainly from local universities and government sector. I think our company was the only odd one out being a private company in the troupe. Nevertheless, I've got to know and met some interesting people especially the scientists. The workshop in general was quite interesting and an eye opener especially on certain subjects to me :) The group presentations at the end of the workshop was surprisingly enjoyable too! Probably because most of the products that were presented are real products about to be commercialized and were given "free business consultation" by the facilitators which I happily observed to get some tips! ;p

My new hair color ;p

I was on leave yesterday and after I have finished with what I had to do in the morning, I made a trip to my favourite hair salon at Hair Cut in Lintas Plaza. I almost perm (body wave) my hair but due to time constraint, I decided to give it a trim and color instead. Anyway, here's my Santarina hair color!! :p
