Welcome Adam Brandon!!

I was pretty excited awaiting for the arrival of Izah's baby boy since she came back to KK. Finally, the cute little baby boy came into the world on 27th Oct at 4pm with 3.65kg weight! He sure is clever enough to wait till his daddy comes home from JB on the very same day b4 he said "hello to the world"!!Yay!! Congrats to Izah and Bryan and of coz to their darling Fara too :) As Adam's daddy had to fly back to JB yesterday evening, we had a family gathering at MIL's to welcome the new addition to the Lim's family, the cute little baby Adam :) Unfortunately MIL was not well so can't join the celebration though she was pretty excited about the event days before...thanks to all the lovely aunties who were wonderful and great chiefs for the day! BTW, MIL became the 3rd time grandma and of coz FIL as third time grandpa this year as this was the 3rd golden piggy grandbabies they have this year i.e. Ethan, Adriana and now Adam :) I may do a separate entry on "Golden Pig Baby" later on...

As for now, here are some photos for the sharing...wished I had taken more pics but this mommy was pretty bz with my prince and the new prince in town! ;p

Baby Adam Brandon L. - what a nice name huh :)

The two princes

The only a week's old Adam vs the almost 5 mths old Ethan... yikes my baby looks so huge from this angle!!

The 3 pretty little angels: Ethan's pretty Aunty Pearl with his cute & lovely cousins Fara & Isabelle

Don't be fooled by the photo as the actual b'day person is the "big" boy aka "Uncle Clement" to baby Ethan - the one with the fashionable beard! haha..

Happy Birthday Clement!! :)

Mommy on duty

As opposed to SIL recent entry's "Mothering Duty On Leave", this mommy is on duty since Friday...was supposed to return to work today but unfortunately MIL is not well today (Ethan's poor grandma...hope she'll get better soon), hence the "on duty" mommy. And while my sweetie pie is sleeping (the second time after my "are you sleeping, are you sleeping brother John" song - which I hv no idea the actual title of the song hehe...), this mommy will do some blogging :)

Oh tomorrow (Tue) will be his review with the doctor at Likas Hospital at noon time and his monthly review at the Petagas Gov' Clinic (yeah, I only bring my precious to the paed if he is unwell...otherwise I will bring him to the government clinic for his monthly review and basic jabs) on Wednesday early morning...can't wait to know his weight and height...will blog about it after the reviews :) So watch my space! ;p

You can see my precious still in his pyjama coz it was raining this morning...will wait a bit later when the day is a bit warm b4 I gv him a bath :)

Balding mommy???!!

HOPE NOT!!! Ever since my precious started to grow his hair back...mine seems to be depleting!! (ok, maybe I'm exagerating a bit here but sure enough I'm loosing hair!! ) Yes, unfortunately, this is one of the phases of postpartum that we mommies have to go through :( I can see my hair lying everywhere on the floor!! Even hubby started to comment which means it is BAD!! :( I just hope this phase will pass faster so I don't have to worry when I need to wash my hair!!

Anyway, on a different note, this blogging mommy is going shopping!! So forget about the balding head for a while as this mommy is going for some thereupatic mission!! I'm Sending Ethan to his Dodu's coz hubby is gonna do some house cleaning. Thanks Darling!! Muah!! :) Oh b4 I logoff, here're a couple of pictures of my precious as I was sharing with him abt my "balding head"...

With such face expression, he must be saying in his heart, "oh my gawd! My mommy is really balding!!"

No! No!! I dowan a balding mommy!!
See you in a bit! :)

Be prepared...

Yes, "Be Prepared" is the famous Scout's motto. Although I'm no longer an active member of this awesome association, I still totally 100% believe in it's motto. We should always be prepared for everything and anything. Be it saving money for rainy days, keeping an umbrella in your car (and another one in your office) in case it rains, having an emergency light in the house in case there's a black out, packing extra clothings during travelling in case you get stranded (some may think this is too much hehe..), stocking up some yummy chocolates in case you're in dire need of some "sugar" in the middle of the night (ok I admit this is just an excuse hehe..), making sure your spare tyre is in good condition and the list goes on are all very important.

One particular area that we should also invest in terms of time and money is to choose the best insurance coverage for the family. This is to ensure that our loved ones will have solid financial foundation should anything happen to us. As daunting as it sounds, we ought to be prepared for unforseen circumstances such as death. Thus, financial protection is inevitable and hence the need for family insurance plans. However, finding the right policy in meeting the needs of our loved ones and us can be overwhelming. Understanding the pros and cons of insurance plans is indeed helpful but if you don't have the luxury to spend time on doing this, then Advantage Terms Life will be handy for you.

Ethan with his high-pitched squeals & contagious laughter that made his cousin Fara laugh too :)

Hear ye!! Hear ye!!...

A friend of mine released his debut album recently. Congrats David! :)

If you're a fan of Dusun songs or you know someone who enjoy such songs, why not grab one or two of his CDs.

It makes a good X'mas present too!
