Happy “Raya-ing”

This year we only visited 3 Hari Raya open house…2 on the 1st day and 1 on the 3rd day (didn’t manage to take any pics on that day though..too bz wt the boys )…hubby was away on the 2nd day of Hari Raya so no visiting…there were more invitations but with an active toddler and a baby I don’t think it will be practical for now ;)

Birthday celebration

We celebrated Uncle Tony's 66th birthday last Sunday at the Emperor Restaurant and while Ethan was having so much fun with the cousins ...Eli was 'socialising' with other extended family members especially from hubby's side...more pictures in my FB :)

and oh...talking about birthday...I turned 39 yesterday!! Looking foward to the big 40 next August and yes I am not afraid to tell my age nor do I feel ashame about it!! ;p what I wish more is to grow old gracefully and hopefully as I age I will be a much stronger and wiser person. So here cheers to myself!! :)

They were in town..

During the last school holidays, hubby's SIL and the kids were in town for a short break. So what better time for Ethan and Eli to meet up and play with their cousins including the latest addition i.e. Baby Sarah...she is such a chubby and cuddly baby...I tell you, those super chubby legs are to pinch and bite for!! ;p

Baby Sarah is only 6 days older than Eli but just look at the size difference!! At 3 months old she was already 6.3kg!! Oh btw, pardon the shiny & oily face ..it was a very hot afternoon!! ;p

Ethan's 2nd birthday bash

To mark Ethan's 2nd birthday, we threw a party for our precious lil' Ethan. We celebrated his special day with our immediate family members, some relatives as well as some close friends and colleagues. We honestly wished we could invite more people but due to budget constraint we will have to fulfill that desire another time ;p Anyway, here is the video taken (thanks to Ulai!) during the birthday song and birthday cake cutting session :) I'll blog more about his birthday party and share some photos later on okay ;p

The kids were pretty eager and rushed to the front when I announced and invited them for this session...must be due to the mighty cute Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake design and not forgetting the Mickey Mouse cuppies (thanks to Deana)which they have been eyeing and waiting to get hold of hehehe...you'll notice I have many helpers while cutting the cake hahaha..

Easter Sunday

This year we didn't get to attend any of the Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and even Easter Sunday masses...one of the reasons is that Ethan is by doctor's advice not to be in a crowded or confined area. This is mainly due to him getting cough/mucus on and off since Feb till late March...took him longer than it usually does...he did recovered but it came back again for about 3 times ...this was before his bad throat infection (and no, the throat infection was not due to his cough but due to infection from others) and since he has sensitive airways the doctor is afraid that it may turn into asthma (touch wood!!) if we are not careful. Hence, his paed discourages us to bring him to shopping malls, churches included. Reason being there are bound to be someone ill inside the building which can trigger his cough/mucus. As he is not fully recovered his lung is still vulnerable.

Anyway, since hubby is away for work, both me and Ethan spend our time at home during the long weekend. Only went out for groceries shopping and had a couple of visits from his downstairs cousins and aunt. My parents dropped by too. Ethan got his Easter eggs from my parents and SIL, Lisa. and And to celebrate Easter Sunday, my dad invited us for dinner at the Chinese restaurant at DJunction. As we got home Ethan was fast asleep just 15 mins after I got him ready for bed...well, with all the running around he would have been really tired!! I then had a relaxing time surfing and blog hopping...phew...what a bliss after the chasing and yelling after Ethan for about 2 hrs!! hahaha...I think I will think twice before I will bring him out alone again...even my Dad told me Ethan really gave me a good exercise that night!! hahaha...Anyway, hope you had an awesome Easter Sunday :)

A rendezvous with the Chins

After a few months...well, about four months, we finally managed to set a date with the Chins. It was really nice catching up with them though hubby was chasing after Ethan and attending his antics most of the time hehe... it was lovely to have finally met sweet lil' Janelle too :) Time really flies as it felt like just recently that I posted about Willis & Ivy's wedding...and now they have added the adorable Janelle into their life :) Just look at Janelle's pics...aren't she a doll :)

KK CD Mommies Pre-Xmas Party

Ethan loves being outdoor, he would usually asks us to bring him out of the door if we've been cooped up in the apartment the whole day. He will either take and try to put his hat on or take and try to put on his shoes and point the door to us hehe...So when Sandra and Miranda suggested to have a gathering at Langkah Syabas, we decided it would be great to bring him to the Pre-Xmas party :) Thanks to the organizers i.e. Miranda and Sandra for the fabulous time especially the horse ride which Ethan loved so much! He loved the swimming pool too but too bad we or rather his mommy only allowed him in the pool for a short while as the water was a bit on the cold side...didn't want him to catch cold or fever okay hee...I think Ethan really had a fantastic time..especially with the horse rides, swimming in the pool and not forgetting him chasing after the Labrador dog, walking around the area including by the seaside, and playing and almost strangled the tabby cat near the horse barn, getting his first Christmas present and chasing after Avi's stroller!! ;p The lunch buffet at the restaurant was great too and hubby said we will definitely go back there especially so that Ethan could have a longer ride on the cartwheel again :)
